The European Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion

Technology of Extracorporeal Assist Meeting 2020, Zurich

Dear Colleagues,

The heart failure epidemic is constantly emerging. At the same time, the current increasing trend in Mechanical Circulatory Support (MCS) contributes to patient’s quality of life and improved functional capacity, and previously fatal conditions see reasonable exit strategies. Until recently, the chances of and need for an interdisciplinary TEAM approach in heart failure management were frequently neglected and is now becoming the main goal, especially at the clinical level.

The main focus of this meeting will be to discuss clinical scenarios, decision making and management of MCS, and to give an outlook on future developments in the field.

The international meeting, which includes hands-on workshops, scientific as well as state-of-the-art clinical lectures, will provide you with the latest knowledge and skills required for successful MCS network management. We are confident that the interaction between the most reknowned speakers, chairs and you as participants will make the meeting intriguingly successful.
