EuroELSO has announced several open positions within its Steering Committee and Scientific Committee.
Both committees play an active role in EuroELSO’s activities and in the organisation and development of the annual EuroELSO Congress.
EuroELSO Steering Committee
Open positions: 5
Including 1 position for a nurse, 2 positions in adult care and 2 positions in pediatric care
Term: Spring 2027 – 2032
Open to: perfusionists, nurses, physicians, engineers and allied health professionals (AHP)
Goals: promoting innovation, improving care, strengthening clinical support and fostering collaboration
EuroELSO Scientific Committee
Open positions: 3
Including 1 position for a nurse and 2 positions in adult or pediatric care
Term: Spring 2027 – 2031
Open to: perfusionists, nurses, physicians, engineers and allied health professionals (AHP)
Main tasks: advising the Steering Committee and contributing to the preparation of the scientific programme for the EuroELSO Congress

Applications must be submitted by 15 September 2026.
Each application should include:
- a personal letter of interest
- a brief proposal outlining the candidate’s main ECMO activities, scientific interests and achievements
- a list of potential conflicts of interest
- a short CV focusing on ECLS/ECMO activities
- confirmation of availability to participate in regular video calls and two onsite meetings per year
Candidates must be either an individual ELSO member or a member of an ELSO Center within Europe or Israel.
